Jammu and Kashmir, India. The administration has launched an anti-encroachment drive after heavy violence erupted in Jahangirpuri area during Hanuman Janmotsav in the national capital, during which several illegal shops and houses were demolished with bulldozers. Meanwhile, the statement of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has come to the fore on the bulldozer policy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
BJP government is demolishing houses of Muslims:
During this, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti in her statement on the BJP bulldozer policy has fiercely attacked the BJP and said – there is no law in the country, whichever one likes, he takes the bulldozer and demolishes someone's house and shop etc. Jail, whose houses and shops are demolished. This country was built on Hindu-Muslim brotherhood and today the BJP government inside this country is not only demolishing the homes of Muslims but also snatching their jobs by taking bulldozers.
Let us tell you that, in the case of removal of slums in Sarojini Nagar, Delhi, the Supreme Court asked the Center to adopt a humane attitude towards the poor people as well as not to take any coercive action in the slum case. By issuing notices to others, it was decided to stop the demolition of 200 slums for the time being.
I hope the Supreme Court will put a stay on this:
Apart from this, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti also gave a statement on the Supreme Court hearing after the summer vacation in the matter of abrogation of Article 370, saying – If such a serious matter has been ended illegally, then I hope that the Supreme Court Will put a stop to this.
