To make Paneer Kofta, gravy is prepared by mixing cashew nuts, curd and other spices, which enhances the taste of this recipe manifold. Today we are going to tell you the recipe of making it, with the help of this you can make delicious paneer kofta at home and feed it to family members.

Ingredients for making Paneer Kofta

For koftas
Paneer grated - 125 grams
Potato boiled grated - 2
Mawa - 65 grams
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Maida - 50 grams
Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Red chili - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Green coriander chopped - 2 tbsp
Mustard oil - 3 tbsp
Raisins - 30 grams
Salt - as per taste

For gravy
Tomato puree - 100 grams
Curd - 5 tbsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Onion chopped - 2
Ginger-garlic paste - 4 tsp
Milk - 100 grams
Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1.5 tsp
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Bay leaves – 2
Cloves - 10
Cumin - 2 tsp
Cinnamon - 2 pieces
Green cardamom - 6
Big cardamom - 2
Refined oil - 3 tbsp

How to make Paneer Kofta
To make Paneer Kofta, first take a bowl and add paneer, mawa, potato, and mix it well. After this, add ginger-garlic paste, red chili, cumin, coriander, raisins, turmeric and salt as per taste and mix it well. Now add green coriander leaves and mustard oil and knead this mixture well.
Knead this mixture in such a way that a hard paste is formed. Now take a wok and put oil in it and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, put koftas made of hard paste in it and fry them. Make koftas of all the mixture and keep them in a separate plate. Now put refined oil in the pan and heat it. When the oil becomes hot, add cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, green cardamom, big cardamom and cumin seeds and fry for about a minute.

After this, add onion, ginger-garlic paste, red chili, coriander powder and salt as per taste. Fry them for about two to three minutes. When the color of onion becomes light brown, then add tomato puree and milk to it and let it cook on medium flame. Let the gravy cook for some time. When it is slightly cooked, then add curd and sugar to it. After this, cover the pan of gravy and let it cook on low flame for about 15 minutes.
Now put the already fried koftas in this gravy and let them fry on low flame for about 5 to 6 minutes. During this, mix the koftas well with the gravy with a ladle. In this way your delicious Paneer Kofta is ready. Before serving, garnish with lemon juice and green coriander leaves. It can be served with paratha, naan or plain roti.
